I just got a robo call from mayor mark boughton (I never understood why we are on their robo call list, since we are in a different town, but that's another story). Anyway, he said though the forecast could change, the Danbury area is expecting around 30" inches of snow, and that snow should start falling in our area mid to late morning tomorrow. He said travel tomorrow night and Tuesday will be "near impossible" and we should stay off the roads. He also reminded us to check in on our elderly neighbors, which is a good reminder for all. Stay safe everyone!

Looking past the Blizzard for a second. Data from Euro12z showing Danbury, CT stays below freezing next 10 days except once (Friday) and is 11 degrees below zero next Tuesday morning.

Bottom line.... Nothing is going to melt except in direct sun and roads.

Look at that qpf column. Geesus! Anyone want to add the total for this storm there? Monday morning to Wednesday morning. Geesus!

Here's the current radar:

Center north of Nashville I think.

Squall lines forming in the Deep South.
