Since you've conflated my comments with Neps, and are painting his attributes on to me, I'm not sure it's worth saying much else...
I was replying to Nep not you....I have friends who are doctors as well (Surgeons) and I have seen their hard work. I was more saying it can go both ways.

Please don't make a false accusation about my conflating your comments with Neps. I would never. The reply was meant strictly to Nep.

Thanks!

I'll summarize my thoughts as: I'd much rather live in a high income state than a low income one.

People don't realize that in order to achieve kind of wealth you have to be a huge risk taker and not be afraid to fail.

People who play it safe, ok with working for someone else and are afraid of letting go of their security blanket will never achieve great wealth and that's ok because lots of people work for someone else, have what they need, and are happy.

You also need to live your life more passionately and stop obsessing with what others make. If you have what you need, can be self sufficient, have a roof over your head and not starving, I would say you have more wealth then some.
