Already delayed 2 hours, with officials saying they will "re-assess" early morning.

4wd doesn't help you stop
Some people don't seem to get that. Many people driving too fast and could run into you even when you're driving safely. I always worry about someone running into me

I do the same. If people insist on tailgating me I just let them pass. I'm super careful around blind turns and watching everyone else like a hawk.

Hartford already decided to close tomorrow, but anyone else I've seen in NY or CT that has declared already has declared a delay for tomorrow (Redding is one example). Then again many Westchester districts declared a delay last night only to change it to a closure this morning. Down here it looks pretty rough out there right now.....

I didn't get out the tape measure but this storm was much more significant in this area than the last one.

Trusting the weather gurus here for advice.
We're supposed to travel from NC to CT tomorrow, via 4wd truck. We've done the 700 mile drive in one day multiple times. The main reason for heading up is an evening wedding/reception in Prospect (adjacent to Waterbury) on Friday.
Honestly, I'm close to canceling the whole thing.A white knuckle drive, and a possibility of bad weather Thursday to Friday, affecting the wedding . (Guilford to Ansonia to Prospect and back to Guilford). The media are not helpful .
So, what say you? What do you predict for the rest of the week?
