Theres debate on that, NWS is saying mid to hi 40s but Accuweather is saying mid 50s

Interesting. What source? Check it later today and tomorrow then let us know if you hit 50 Monday. Might be close in spots

1/2" rain so far.. Poor snowpack. I think we can all say thanks though.
Fog along with the rain and melting

2nd longest consecutive amount of days with snow on the ground...and latest for the stretch.

So count back 50 days from March 13th, that's the last time there was no snow on ground. Nuts

we still have snow cover here in East Lyme - there are patches of grass showing through, but I'd say a majority is still covered. Since we're getting all rain here today and it's supposed to be near 50, I'd say we'd be looking at a majority of grass showing through by this time tomorrow.

We had no snow here until a few days before that late January blizzard. Before that, it was just a few times where maybe the grass was covered overnight and quickly melted away once the sun came up.

Rain came and killed most of the snow here. Feels like the big piles will be around til frigging May though.

The Weather channel. Although they lowered the temps later in the day.

Cool, yeah confirming what I'm seeing with the models. After Wednesday it might be tough passing mid 40s so without any rain or fog the snowpack should continue with the slow melt.

While there's no extreme cold coming we should stay below normal/near normal for next 10 days+. No above normal warm period being shown.

----------------------

Even after 1" of rain, thick fog, and all the 40s, I still have 7" on the ground. Drifts and piles higher of course. This is NUTS!

Sikorsky airport with 5" still on ground! Another 9 days they break the record for longest snowcover streak! This is the latest with a streak this long. We basically have January snow on the ground still.

Yeah, still snow on the ground here, too. The rain yesterday did help though, and most of the snow on roof is gone. If it does get up to 50 tomorrow and stays above freezing the rest of the week, I'm hopeful we'll have some bare patches soon.

Even Central Park still showed 1" yesterday (I assume their streak ends today, all the other NYC airports showed no snow cover and this (as well as the 5" at BDR) is consistent with NWS's snow cover map shown below.

NWS at Boston/Logan Airport, Worcester and Providence claim no snow cover in their climate reports, I find that hard to believe, especially when I look at the snow cover map (the snow cover "hole" over the Albany, NY area is interesting though).
