Live in Naugatuck near the Beacon Falls train station was thinking of taking the train to work be easier. Appreciate the advice.

Not a good walk. Goes through one of the worst parts of the city. Probably OK in the daytime but late at night, alone, forget it.

Take a taxi. They're lined up outside the train station.

Lots of nasty intersections with little to no sidewalk protection. I wouldn't advise it.

First of all, it is nearly a 3 mile walk from the train station downtown to Bridgeport Hospital and it goes through some of the worst neighborhoods in the city. Adjacent to the train station is Bridgeport's Bus Station so you could catch a bus to the hospital. Otherwise I would look at other options including ride sharing or driving yourself. Jay

LOL! Yeah, as Jay noted, that would be a very long walk along a busy street, and some pretty rough neighborhoods. Here's another thought though, I certainly wouldn't consider it, but doesn't the bus/CT Transit run along that road? Editing to say never mind, I see Jay beat me to that comment as well. I hadn't finished reading his entire post when I commented.

Buses in Bridgeport are operated by the Greater Bridgeport Transit Agency, not CT Transit. Jay

I'd personally recommend an armed personnel carrier for that trip.
