Southington would have the longest commute to Hartford. It's mainly along i-84 too which is a nightmare during rush hour.

Wethersfield would have the fastest commute. Although some parts of Jordan Ln have a lot of traffic and are unattractive. You would have to visit that location in person.
Also, it would be possible to drive to downtown Hartford via city streets from Jordan Ln in the event highway is closed for some reason. Otherwise, commute via RT 5/15 into downtown would be quick (probably 15 minutes or less)

Not very familiar with the Newington locations, but you would still likely be commuting via i-84 into Hartford.

I wouldn't call Jordan Lane unattractive but it is busy. That house is nice and on the very edge of Old Wethersfield but do you really want to live on a busy road right next to a busy shopping center. I think the OP should be able to find a better location in Wethersfield at that price.

I like the location of the Southington home but am not impressed with the house. IT is very far from Hartford so if being near your job is important, you might want to eliminate it.

Maple Hill Avenue is also a busy street so I would avoid it if possible.

The Deming Farm Drive home I believe is off the Berlin Turnpike behind Walmart. The area is not bad and you are likely not right on a busy street. I do know someone though that lived on the corner of Deming Street and they had some issues with traffic and accidents in front of their home. Still of the homes given I think this is the one I would pick. Jay

I know that area of Southington really well and it is a great location. Convenient to everything, easy highway access, downtown Plantsville and Southington are close.

I worked in Hartford and lived in Southington and it wasn't a terrible drive. Keep in mind I was driving to Stamford from Southington so Hartford was a cake walk. It depends on the time of day you get in and leave. Also, if you want to take advantage of it, CT Fasttrak has an express bus which picks up from Plantsville and uses the new busway to skip all the traffic in Hartford. This would make commuting a breeze.

I really like Newington. There are actually 2 new fast track stations in Newington so you can use those to make the ride to Hartford even easier.

Scratch the Wetherfield house.
