In terms of FF itself; we would we go if we wanted a good beer around happy hour that isn't all suit and ties?

I don't think I've ever seen a suit and tie out in Fairfield (town)! Lots of good watering holes around town from Irish-y bars (Anna Liffey's and Archie Moore's come to mind) to more adult (less college-y, I guess) places like Local, Barcelona, Craft, Old Post Tavern and about 20 others. Too many to list, really.

Look closer. Horrible existence. I know quite a few Fairfield commuters. A couple even walking distance to the train. They get home just in time to put the kids to bed.
