Apparently, Jay does.

I don't even have cable... not that you need it to watch the show.

If you want to see something else CT-related, CT's only Caroll Spinney (pupperteer for Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch) has a new movie now out on Netflix, etc, about his life. Saw it the other night. VERY interesting!

Actually I did not watch Idol until this year when Nick Frediani became a contestant. I became aware of him and his band Beach Avenue last year when they were on America's Got Talent through an old neighborhood friend who is related to one of the members of the band. The show is actually still very popular with nearly 6.8 million viewers. This however is a lot lower than the crazy number of viewers they got at its peak. Still it has been interesting to watch. Jay

Smile Me,too!

Never watched this show - in fact watch very little tv, other than news, 20/20, Nightline, Dateline,Intelligence for your Life and CPTV, but due to the "Frenzy" watched last night. Nick seems like a likable, genuinally nice young man, so I wish him the best. Plan to watch the finale tonight!

Nick Fradiani is the new American Idol!!'

Great show tonight. Nick seemed completely overwhelmed by the whole thing. It was nice to see that he honored his friend Nick Abrahams by naming him as his mentor. Nick A received a car from Ford and was introduced on the show. Now it will be interesting to watch him as his career happens. Wish him the best. Jay

They're too poppy for my tastes, but it's pretty cool that his band Beach Avenue is named after one of my favorite streets in CT.

Guilford native and American Idol winner; Nick Fradiani is now starring on Broadway in the Neil Diamond musical A Beautiful Noise. Way to go Nick! Jay
