If this is true, OP, why not see if the CVS will transfer you to another one, preferably one in Meriden or near it?
I think OP works on CVS' corporate side (not a retail location). Even so, 1.5 hours is insane. I drive an hour+ almost everyday from Stratford to Hartford and it sucks - I can't imagine adding an extra minute onto the commute.
OP, I would follow what the others have said and highly suggest ditching the idea of Vernon in favor of a truly in-between locale (such as Norwich).

Anybody willing to carpool on a daily basis (or at least 2 - 3 days every week) to travel from Hartford, CT area to Woonsocket, RI? I live in Avon, CT and need to commute to Woonsocket, RI regularly.
From Avon, CT, I drive to Woonsocket, RI via Rt 84/Rt 90/Rt 146.
If you are working in and around Woonsocket, RI and live in and around Hartford, CT area (including areas on Rt 84), I'm willing to share a ride. If the drive takes 90 minutes, each of us can drive for ~45 minutes, thus lessening the time we spend in front of the wheel and also enjoy good company.
