Keys words in bold. If there's not much there, it makes it easier to develop into a regional station.

I don't blame them. They have invested a lot of money to live there. Does this have to be built and destroy one of the quieter and more charming parts of our state? I don't think so. A regional transit center should be coordinated with the state's transportation plan, not just blindly proposing what some idiot who obviously knows little to nothing about the area thinks looks good from afar.

Are they proposing a regional transit center for New York in the Bronx? No, it is proposed for Manhattan where it makes sense and will work with the existing transportation centers. There is no reason this should not be the same. Stamford or Bridgeport are not far, why not there? What about New Haven which would tie into local trains from Shoreline East and the new New Haven-Hartford-Springfield line? Makes much more sense than just randomly proposing a location that ties to nothing. Jay

Why not just run high speed rail cantilevered over the median of I-95? No NIMBY people to complain about it there.

Maybe they should use Weinstein's place across the street.

When are the additional M8’s going in service? Peak crowding is an issue.

What an odd timetable. Not really optimized for commuting.
