That's a week away, and you're already planning to take the day off?

It's funny... the geek in me wants to update on the storm happening since it's pretty decent sized and always interesting. But the soul in me is just depressed and who cares about rain so whats the point.

Storm currently over South Carolina and the other over Michigan. It's even raining in Michigan! Mid January! Mid Winter!

I think this has been a GREAT winter so far, a warm December and a semi-warm January with no snow. AccuWeather does say it will turn cold next week for a few days, but it won't last, it should warm again by the 20th or so (and there is no chance for any snowstorms in the next 8 days in the Tri-State.

AccUWeather says the AO will turn more positive and the NAO will as well. That means less chance of any snowstorms . With the current EL Nino pattern, this should mean more often than not any percip will have more chance of being rain than snow.

I've noticed the days are getting longer...so the sun is also getting stronger each day. In a little more than 6 weeks (late Feb) it will be all over... and another long hot summer will be just around the bend!
Hi Wave! How goes? You are very good at copy and pasting! February is a long month.

Don't even acknowledge him anymore..its pathetic...poor guy.

Funny how he was nowhere to be seen last February when the "stronger sun" was obliterated under a sea of snow and cold. LOL
