. I go running every other day or so. Definitely a nice morning and evening for it now. Do you use an app to keep track of time, route, miles, calories, ect.. I have the Runkeeper App?

====================

Went to the Essex Train thing and thought this part was funny. Riding a slow boat, on the water... and no wind.

It was getting hot fast but I kept thinking.... why is it so hard to get wind in CT! lol

There was a nice breeze when we started but after 12pm it was dying down then I realized the flag.

Quick graphic I made..

We thought last year wasn't a Hot Summer.... So far Boston No 90s, last yr had 3 by now. Normal is 6. Hartford had 8 last year by now!

Seems like North of NJ hasn't had Summer heat but even Philly is slightly below normal

I just downloaded the Nike Running app. It's free and maps your run and tracks your pace and distance. I was impressed! I'm not a runner - but it's something I'd like to get into and I signed up for a 5K on August 6th, so I figured I should do some prep for it. It even tracks the weather too! (yesterday was noted as sunny and 74 during my run).

Not looking forward to the next week of heat and humidity. Sunday looks gross.

Just started cranking the a/c. Will probably be on nonstop for the next week.

Interesting they have Bridgeports high at 89 for Sunday. Maybe there first 90 of the year? It looks like even the shoreline will be hot.

long term /sunday through friday/...

Sunday should be the hottest and most uncomfortable day of the summer as upper level ridging builds across...with highs in the lower and mid 90s...and mid/upper 80s along most south facing shores. this in combination with dewpoints around or just over 70 should yield heat indices around 100 in most of nyc metro and in the interior valleys well north/west.
