What spin? It's coming. That large spin is a storm in the Upper levels. Called Upper Level Low. A surface storm will form near the base of it and exit off NJ coast.

Your forecasts should have changed to lesser snow now.

Can we move on to Spring now after this cold weekend? So many teases I cant take it. lol

Latest GFS, Canadian, NAM, and Euro snow totals. See anything for CT? I don't. Maybe snow showers or flurries but no more snow event. PA will get it and mountains of Virginias and even NJ will see snow.

I think CT getting screwed. The storm is too far south.

For period of April 2 to April 7 it was the 3rd coldest for Hartford. Only 2 other yrs were colder in 111yrs of records. Impressive for early April.

Providence was 4th coldest. I quickly checked BOS, NYC, Richmond, and Philly and they weren't too impressive but still Top 15.

I'm usually a snow lover but now I'm ready for Soring. I'm glad this weekend looks like a swing and a miss for snow.

Ok , well that I agree with. But a 1 inch plus snow April 10 in NYC? How many times has that happened in the last 50 years ?? Average high April 10 is close to SIXTY in NYC. It's akin to snow in January in south/ central Georgia.

Next week still looks 5-7 degrees below normal.

ANSWER: None! Last 1" plus in NYC after April 10 was April 14, 1950! In fact only measurable in NYC after April 10 in last 50 years is 0.8" on April 19, 1983
