May 2016 is over & it was memorable for Southern New England.

It started as one of the coldest & ended as one of the warmest.

Not to forget the record number of overcast/cloudy days for parts of the area

Bridgeport went from an average temp of 50.3 the first week of May which was 6th coldest, to 73.1° last week of May which was 2nd warmest. Crazy!

The reason Boston was only 11th warmest was that backdoor cold front that gave them a couple of days in the 50s and 60s in that span. But overall a very bipolar month!

Good point about Boston. Guess Providence was too far West for it? Worcester I think got invited to the cool party though.

BTW.. End of May was memorable even for Vermont. Gees.

Did you put that together? Nice work but Don't get me ranting about Wikipedia Climate data. It's a disgrace they allow ANYONE to edit it. And people out there are using it like its a legit source.

Love the setup of it though. Too bad NWS doesn't do this.

Temp and Satellite loop last 4 hrs

Upper 80s in Kentucky, 50s in Minnesota under "the storm" which looks like a Hurricane on land. Wow.

Hartford once again hit mid 80s.

80° here with dewpoint in 50s. More tolerable than muggy 60s!

Its is part of my sandbox which is not a Wikipedia article. But yes it is true that anyone can edit a Wikipedia article. And to get the yearly average high I add all of the months average high temperatures and divide it by the number of months that have passed.
