Mid 80s to Mid 40s. Weeeeeee.

Typical Early Fall look as we transition into the season. Lots of ups and downs. Enjoy the breaks! Bundle up the kids Friday morning.

As far as rain.... whats that?

What are your thoughts on these drought conditions? We did not see much rain this summer and still the trend continues. I am a little worried about my well running dry. Is this abnormal?

For Hartford Since June 1st they have 9.38" of rain. While it's not in the Top 20 driest for the period (there were 20 years drier than this one), it hasn't been this dry since 1995. 2010 and 1999 were close.

Do you remember 6 yrs ago when we were as dry?

So to answer your question is it "abnormal"? No.
Is it not common, Yes.

As far as year to date since January.. don't forget.. we were Normal levels in April. So it's really only been 4 months being drier then normal.

National Weather Service Climate (Choose "Accumulation graphs" then precip)

What's even funnier is I've seen posts from 2 friends on Facebook on this comic, one used it to say there's no climate change, the other used it to "sound the alarm".

I know temperatures have gone up since 1990, but I think that graphic shows it higher than it's actually been.......
