Islip reporting Ice. NYC & White Plains now light rain. Poughkeepsie and Waterbury light snow. Just a potpourri out there. And could just be switching back and forth for hours.

I actually work p/t Sunday mornings (but local to me in southern Westchester, not in CT like I do during the week). At 6am I heard sleet pellets against my window that woke me up, but I don't right now. Looks wet outside (still lots of snow on the ground though so it didn't all melt) and I see cars moving OK, so maybe I'll get lucky.....my wife works in retail this afternoon/evening but again local to here.

Radar loop last 4 hrs. 4-8am.

Notice what direction the moisture is coming from in Eastern MA. Ocean Effect Snow for Boston while the main event is coming from the West. Cool?

Also notice NYC change from rain to sleet to ice to rain. Just a potpourri event.

My sleet now is just snow. Big fat flakes.

Moderate snow in Wallingford, sticking and accumulating. It's only 23 out so I'm not sure if I buy into the rain line moving so far north. My hope is that it stays south and we get a solid 6"
