Flying out Monday early and coming back Wed, I think I'm in the clear in terms of weather during those times.

Heater cables will be on for the next several days.

Great timing. Tuesday would be the hault day. Although wouldn't you have delays Wednesday from all the push back and delays Tuesday? No idea how airports work.

It's my understanding that the flights that get delayed/cancelled are considered to have "flown" and are no longer in the system. Instead, you are placed on another flight that is the same service. e.g. Flight 700 TPA to BDL is delayed for 8 hours on Tuesday, so you are instead on Flight 800 from TPA to BDL on Wednesday.

Could be wrong, it's been a long time since I was interested deeply in air traffic.

The good part is my flight wed. is late, doesn't land until almost 11pm so by then I could be safe.

I don't know what airport you are using but BDL usually does a phenomenal job with snow. The only time snow seems to slow them down is when flights can't get out of other airports.

Usually 1 or 2 days worth is typical but a stretch like this is interesting.

Feels like we should be turning clocks backwards this weekend. lol

I wonder if they are factoring in the fresh snowpack tomorrow for Friday night lows and Saturday Highs.

Lets see how much the March sun can melt. My Time lapse camera getting setup today

JFK unfortunately, no directs to NOLA from Bradley unfortunately and I'm not an avid flyer. I'm glad I held off on planting seed until I returned, doesn't look like I'll miss out waiting another week.
