For Danbury, CT & pretty much my backyard. .. I have 1 question... WHERE HAVE THE 70s BEEN???? 1 Day this month??

AND only 8 Days with sun & 60s!

It's either sunny and 80s or cloudy and 50s/60s

You can get sky cover info through the F6 Data. They have each day labeled as numbers.

CLEAR (SCALE 0-3)
PTCLDY (SCALE 4-7)
CLOUDY (SCALE 8-10)

I was in some summer-like downpours and thunder on the Mass Pike earlier this afternoon. Didn't expect to run into that!

BDR had warmest April ever at 54.0 deg, edging out 2010 by 0.1 degree. Central Park had 2nd warmest April at 57.2 deg, 0.7 below 2010.

Weird part is most of the warmth was due to nighttime lows over daytime highs, both were significantly above normal but the lows a lot more so.

Saw it yesterday on radar. Scattered about.

This mornings drizzle makes it the 12th day of last 13 days with precip. So annoying! And the mist is worst!

NWS Forecast for Waterbury. Bottom line... enjoy tomorrow and Wednesday. Very cold airmass is coming after that. Struggling past 50s for days. reaching just lower 60s mostly across the state.

Heavy rains Friday. No frosts or freezes except maybe some local cold pockets, hills or northern tier?

I just packed up my tent that I set up on the deck. And my "travel chairs" are packed and ready to go to the VA Gold Cup Races in Warrenton VA (near DC) on Saturday. Rain or shine! Still shine would be preferred.

I saw it's going to get into the 40's at night this week. Might have to light the coal stove for the night time! I can't tolerate much below 55!
