I feel like we need meds to stay sane. Cloudy again this morning!

Now 70 hours straight without seeing the sun.

Gloomy. Miserable. Had my entire lunch break yesterday just looking at rentals near Tampa. This weather is just depressing.

I got my info from this site (http://www.weather.gov/media/okx/Cli...nyc/nycjun.pdf), though OKX is known to screw their "almanacs" up on occasion. What year was that 56? When I click on the link you gave me I just get "record reports":

NowData should be the only site to use for records and stats. It's the only one maintained and legit. There are other sites which piggyback off this, which are fine, but this is the Go To spot.

That's why NWS didn't issue a record report for NYC, I was wondering too. Close though!

And I thought when I was in Wildwood, NJ this past Saturday to view the entire 3 1/4 hour long NJ Elks Parade that the Trumbull, CT Golden Eagle Marching Band (great band btw) brought the chilly temps down with them. I do have cellphone video if interested.

We down here are not suffering "as bad" as you nice people in CT weather wise as there has been more sun here and warmer temps throughout this period, still it could be much much better and at least more seasonal.

Make sure you all have great sunglasses as whenever the sun decides to show itself it may actually "blind" you from your eyes being accustomed to so many consecutive days of cloudiness.

THE EDGE IS NEAR!!!

Goes16 Satellite Loop 4pm yesterday to 11am this morning. Those are High Clouds you see off the coast racing Northeast.. I see the final edge of clouds pushing "south". MA is first to see clear skies. Tomorrow is gonna be awesome here.

Sun FINALLY poked through this morning. 70 hours straight without. But back to clouds since. Only 1 hour of it so far today. I'll take it!

Only 5 hrs of sun last 4 days. 51 hours last 17 days.

Picture is worth a thousand.. emotions?

Central CT Valley benefiting. Waiting here. Ironic those areas with clouds in CT are the higher elevation hills in the state... Are the hills enhancing the clouds?

Still only 1 hour of sun here today so far.

2pm map. I thought I was on the bottom edge of the chilly mid 60s this June 7th afternoon. Looks like even down in Virginia feeling it too. Wow at the 50s in PA & OH. Wow.

10-15 below normal from Florida to Southern New England

Strange design on the ground. Is that what shade and sun look like??? Oh yeah.
