Ellery lived in West Haven in fact he and his wife(no kids at the time) were my landlords great people!! He started at the Plankhouse in Orange (current Olive Garden) the location of Ellerys became Nick & Neil’s Nightclub till a shooting in the early 2000s shut it down Its now AAA and I believe Progressive Insurance new building THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES !!!
I don’t believe it was the nude bar when Ellery owned it perhaps later under different management....

Used to live in the Woodmont section of Milford back in the 90's.
Stopped by with friends once in a while. Some guys owned it for a few years. Think the shooting happened on their watch. 2nd group of guys I've known in that biz who drank/partied all the money away!
