It's too old of a facility and there's plenty of better ones out there. The stadium in Bridgeport where they used to play is better than Yale Field by a mile.

correct.

NB attendance btw just 35/game > Bluefish.

Ct does not support minor league baseball, with few exceptions, almost always at bottom of league attendance. Bluefish spent their last decade well below league average.

League averages I posted 2017 show non Ct teams averaged 1,100 more per game than 2 Ct teams.

Well the Yard Goats seem to be doing pretty good with attendance. Granted they are brand new to Hartford, but it seems the team gets butts in the seats.

Bluefish did well for first few years, too. Then putrid. Now gone soon.

I'm hoping that won't be the case.

Sustaining it is key. Somerset Patriots have been at their park many years-still atop league attendance. Historically, Ct does not retain early attendance numbers for minor league ball.

Another beautiful old building downtown converted to apartments. Love that these are being put to a new use. Jay

Not 100% percent sure about the Bridgeport Bluefish for the 2018 season. I DO know that they're heading down to High Point, NC for the 2019 season.

With all the talk about MGM's proposed casino in Bridgeport, the redevelopment of the long vacant Lowes Poli Palace and Majestic theaters on Main Street has been overlooked. The Bridgeport City Council has approved the deal with New York developer Exact Capital. Hopefully this will move forward because the buildings are beautiful and long neglected. Jay
