Hi All,

We have some really nice stuff we need to clear out (Quinny Strollers, Pack n Play, Jumperoo, Crib Mattresses etc.). I've tried the Craigslist route with limited success, and local places such as Goodwill won't accept many of these items. I'm looking for any suggestions for specific places that would accept items such as these. The items are in excellent condition. Preferably somewhere in the Danbury/Norwalk area.

Thanks in advance.

Try places that sell these items on consignment. We have places in my city that are for infants and children where you can buy and sell used items. Clothing, toys, furniture and the like.

Try the women's center of greater Danbury.

Once Upon a Child on Newtown Rd in Danbury will probably take the stroller and other gear but not crib mattresses - those are a tough sell.

How old are these items. Keep in mind there are very strict safety guidelines for children's items these days so many organizations will not take older items that do not meet current regulations. The liability can be very big if they do. That may be why Goodwill turned them down. IF that is the case just junk them because no one will pay anything for them. Jay

Thanks so far for the suggestions folks.

Jay - They are all within guidelines. I junked my car seats & bases which, while in perfect condition unfortunately, passed the expiration date.

@ hvexpatinct - JFYI Women's center changed their policy on accepting used items. Thanks anyway though.

Went to Once Upon a Child on Newtown Rd in Danbury and cleared it all out. Even got a little cash in the process

Thanks again hvexpatinct for the suggestion.
