Oooh, are we all providing our own anecdata? Let me throw my anecdotal evidence on the pile: I personally know 2 people who have moved out of CT since I have lived in this state. When I lived in Florida, I knew far more people who moved out of state. What does this all mean? Absolutely nothing.

While CT is not the MOST exciting place out there, it far from the most mundane. Sorry, but not everyone in their 20's and 30's has to have good nightlife---let alone those who are middle aged or older.

Have you even traveled that much around the USA to have a frame of reference when you talk about CT being boring?

Visit Kansas sometime, and then get back to me.

Then again income tax collections in CT have not met expectations so far this year...I wonder why ? (sarcasm )
Population has not decreased in CT. You may want to check your stats again.

If its so bad here, just leave!

I think its YOU, not your geographic location, that is the issue.

Agree. The effort people spend complaining about where they live could be better spent looking for a "better" place to reside.

Disclaimer: I've lived in both the south and west. Aside from cost, this is about as good as it gets.

Lol - Chiefs and Royals play in Kansas City Missouri. We also have major league sports in adjacent states I do hear KCMO is doing pretty well, but so is Boston!

Wichita KS = 400,000 in 160 square miles. The metro area is less than half the size of Hartford. Hard pass on a completely flat state with minimal greenery. So much for hiking, skiing, or the beach. Also - the picture you attached has renderings of unbuilt skyscrapers included. I am pretty sure the tallest in the photo is the Devon Tower in Oklahoma City.

Why is this a CT versus KS thing?
