I didn't think about that one, very likely.

I wonder what the result was. A fine to him, the company, the GPS? Did they just let it go as a mistake by everyone?

I also wonder if flattening the tires did the trick? I'm sickened to think how much delay it caused and how long they took to clear him. Ugh. Next exit isn't too far at 42 but are there any bridges before then?

That's what going around Manhattan (and Queens for the most part) will do. CT isn't in the same league. Appreciate what we have

Awesome, so we should compare to a worse area and make it seem like we are good. Interesting.

Cam: We aren't comparing to a worse area, we are part of the same NYC Megalopolis of 20.2 million people!

Maybe.
I know a couple of people who leave Exit 19 at 6:30am - one goes to Wilton and takes 15-20 mins. The other goes to Stamford and takes 40 mins give or take.
7:00am or later forget it.

That's nuts. I get on at exit 15 and get to Yonkers in maybe 50 minutes. I left at like 7:25/7:30 today and was sitting in my office at 8:15....and traffic has been worse this week than the last few.

Back in 2008 and 2009 when I had an 8 am class at NCC in Norwalk if I got on the Merritt (exit 50) by 6:30 I would make it to NCC by 7:15, if I got on at 6:45 I could make it by 7:45, if I got on at 7 I wouldn't be there till like 8:15 or 8:30.

Not in Fairfield County but has anyone take a peak at the traffic in Manchester due to that truck fire on Interstate 84 by the mall. This is the farthest traffic backup I've seen. Only 1 lane is open and all the traffic is backed up from Buckland Hills Mall to East Hartford by Rentschler. This is causing all the local streets to be clogged with traffic. Good luck in traffic guys

Yeah it was sent around our office this afternoon. One of my coworkers is still stuck in it. Also understand I-384 is a mess to because of an accident. Glad I am not heading that way. Jay
