Whomever your go with, negotiate the rate.

When I renewed my "ceiling plan" this year the price of oil was on a downward trend, I used that to negotiate a lower long-term rate than their initial offer on that day instead of actually waiting for a realized discount that may have never came. Good luck.

PS. I use Petro and insisted on a "Premium Annual Tuneup" at a discounted rate of $99, down from $395. Includes all parts and I believe I have emergency service included for the year. Granted I spent a lot of money with them, but I try to make it count.

What kind of rates are others seeing these days for price locks? I'm seeing a fixed rate of ~$2.20 per gallon or a capped rate of ~$2.40. Anybody seeing significantly better?
