The only way to develop a true rivalry with another team is to schedule the same team or teams season after season. Until UConn can stay put in a conference it will not happen again any time soon.

I was surprised by the lack of UCONN fans in Atlantis. In all of the Syracuse games, Orange Fans and the color Orange dominated. Even fans on The-Boneyard said that Syracuse Fans dominated.

Despite losing the tournament, UCONN is still ranked in CBS's Top 25. OT, but I am going to the Carrier Dome on February 20th when Syracuse hosts Pittsburgh.

Lots of UCONN Discussion here, maybe we should create a thread about the Huskies.

UConn fans don't travel all that well to far away locations. Just ask the 2011 Fiesta Bowl organizers. The school sold only 2,771 out of an allotment of 17,500 Fiesta Bowl tickets, resulting in the university absorbing 14,729 tickets worth $2,924,385,

There were plenty of UConn fans in Glendale for that game. But they wisely bought tickets for cheap on the secondary market instead of paying the inflated face value. And that's the value of a UConn education!

As a first time BCS bowl participant, UConn's administration learned first hand what a scam the major bowls can be.

This Big 10/ACC Challenge is fun to watch. Virginia is leading as of now, NC State has to pick it up vs Michigan.

Does UCONN hate the Cuse? Cuse fans on their forum hate UCONN, Georgetown, and St Johns.

Former UCONN Coach Jim Calhoun is an announcer in the Syracuse/Wisconsin Big 10/ACC Challenge Game.

Aside from living in Connecticut, both of my parents graduated from Georgetown in the 80's (in the Ewing, Mutumbo, bitter games with Syracuse & St. John's era) so we live in a "despise everything Syracuse & St. John's household." Since the conference realignment, and St. John's program completely going in the $#!tter once Metta World Peace (the artist formally known as Ron Artest) and Felipe Lopez graduated, the St. John's hatred got replaced by an insane hatred of the Pitt Panthers. Out of both Syracuse & Pitt, I still think Pitt is the team I hate the most in all of college sports.

Pitt is harmless if you leave out the fact that Pitt was the deciding vote to not accept the Big East TV contract offered by ESPN ($11 mill per school) which was the final straw that broke up the conference.
