Obama, the NYT, Chris Murphy, etc. are claiming that San Bernandino is a gun control issue. Its not. Its a terrorism issue. Just like Paris (no one mentioned gun control once in the wake of that attack). And because they are conflating gun control with terrorism, they are purposefully confusing the issue and increasing the likelihood that the pertinent issue, terrorism, does not get addressed. In other words, they are using a terrorist attack to pursue their gun control agenda, even though that is not the relevant issue in this case.
