Trying to defend the obvious racist comments from DePage indicates either willful ignorance or worse.

It's obvious what this is. It's disgusting. What reason anyone would have to defend or excuse LaPage's behavior is beyond me. He's not just racist-- He's an incompetent governor. He mistakenly let the veto deadline expire on dozens of bills allowing them to become law even though he intended to veto.

People in Maine are exploring recall options.

I don't know if that's true... you don't have to be like Shakespeare in front of the camera but, ya know, you don't need to sound like a rapper/mob boss/Jersey housewife/etc when you're talking about a tragic issue. But I guess it's all about who they think their audience is I suppose.

The good news for the governor's biggest fan Chris Christie is that this should lift him in the polls, since the GOP loves them racists..

Christie supports LePage after racially charged remarks

Good For Christie that he stands by his allies!

If that were the case Carson would not have climbed so highly in the polls.

Democratic party is loaded with bigots. But that's an off topic discussion!

The article you posted referred to a different individual who goes by "Murder", not "D-Money."

Where's Carson now? 8th place? Doesn't really prove anything that he's a horrendous candidate and people realized it quickly.

There are plenty of bigots to go around in both parties. However, LePage is plainly a bigot and plainly Republican and attempts to fling mud on others doesn't change that.

I'm referring to this article. It was posted on Page 4 of the thread.

David Marble goes by the nickname of "Dee Money". There are other articles about it on the internet and you can read all about it.

That's not the one.

This "Dee Money" is accused of homicide.

The governor was merely accusing someone of miscegenation.

Homicide over drug related issues. Since it was only a couple of weeks ago it would make sense that the Governor referred to him recently.
