I'm still laughing at the Winter Storm Watches ongoing in Orange in Putnam counties. WTH is going on in the weather room?

Yeah crazy...meanwhile NWS still has 3-6 and only a winter weather advisory. If we get a blizzard last minute, it's not gonna be good...

Snow started at JFK and Linden. It's close. Raining in Virginia beach. Also, its snowing in Atlanta and snowflakes flying in northern Florida.

I was going to drive into the office for a few hours tomorrow morning to get some stuff done, I assume my plans are....unrealistic? I was thinking maybe 830-noonish.

I can work remotely if I have to, but having only 1 computer screen and a wife telling me to do things every half an hour results in huge loss of productivity. I drive a jeep wrangler unlimited with mountain tires, so if only a few inches before noon, I thin I'll be alright.

I checked my zipcode 06473 and Wallingford 06492 with the National Weather Service and it's almost the same as it was as of this afternoon. According to NWS, I should expect between 2-9 inches total. I live fairly close to the Wallingford border so I'm taking the minimum from Wallingford and the maximum from North Haven as my range.

Accu-weather says 3-6 inches.

Weather Channel says 5-8 inches during the day, and another 1-3 tomorrow night.

Weather Underground says 8-12 inches total (plus less than 1/2 inch tonight).

I'm thinking we'll probably see around 8 inches total, not including the 20-foot drifts that always come with blizzard-like gusts of wind

WTF?! I knew I wasn't seeing things. Models kept going up with the totals. WTF?

And now Upton goes up... way up! 12-18" for southern CT. 18-24" for NYC and Long Island. We have been NAM'd?

NWS now has the upper North End of Bridgeport saying 1 to 2 inches tonight, 6 to 10 tomorrow, and 3 to 5 tomorrow night.

It's gonna be a 24 hour event from overnight tonight til overnight tomorrow night. No longer saying snow for Sunday morning.
