Not sure about skyline, but I remember reading something about being able to see the Long Island Sound from the top of the Castle Craig tower on Hanging Hills (Hubbard Park) in Meriden.

I have hiked up there a few times but it was never a "perfect" day. I assume it needs to be beyond perfect to see over 25 miles from only 1000 ft elevation.

This is in East Hartford? I never saw this statue before and I go by there all the time not knowing this was there. I will have to check it out on the next nice day. thanks, Jay

it's hard to see from the road. it's up the hill of that walkway that surrounds the duplex business park on E River Dr (where the State is).
