Light hiking this morning. Temperature 52°F after rain moved through.

Looks and Feels like November.

Rivers aren't swollen as I thought, then I remembered how dry it's been. Less than 2 inches last 4 weeks and all ground snow been melted north of here.

I forgotten that structure was there.. Still no idea why it was built there.

Somebody was watching me from way up in the trees. :-)

Color!

My Colors of the day. April 19, 2015.

Lilac, Swamp Maples, Hyacinthias, & Forsythias all blossoming & blooming now. Grass going to need a mow soon but with colder temps coming I may have to wait till May.

If it wasnt for last 7 days in a row above normal we wouldn't be this far & would be weeks behind normal. Like 2-4 weeks behind. So the past week let everything catch up a bit. Still about 1-2 weeks behind normal.

That was in North Stamford. I'll post again in the summer when there's full greenage around.

I believe these are Dogwoods.

Colors starting to pop up more while the overall backdrop is still bare. Only select few tree types showing their colors.

Cherry Trees in the back?

Beautiful.. wish the wires weren't there.

Black Cherry on right. Things are getting colorful now.

New Canaan, CT. Merritt Parkway. Overall still leafless.

I would say:
80% Budding
15% blooming
5% leafing
