Stylo, the fact is I want to make sure I get all the voters that want to vote voting, and quite a bit of them don't use or check these forums daily. Also I am quite busy with work mostly during the week and it takes time to post the results on here and do the draw for the next round. Next round I can make the deadline on thursday late morning though, which I plan to do.

Default Round 5 Procedures

Procedures for Round 5

Hey All,
I hope you are still enjoying this tournament, and especially looking forward to the toughest rounds because they are coming. So in Round 5 there will be no seeded towns. Since they are all tough, I will just do the draw with all the towns in one pot, so any town can face any town.

However we have 11 towns, meaning that one town will have to advance automatically to Round 6. I hate doing this, but we have to do it with odd numbers. The town automatically advancing will be drawn out randomly but it cannot be Farmington, because Farmington has already had a free pass to a round previously in the tournament.

Here are the towns that we will have in Round 5:

East Lyme
Fairfield
Farmington
Greenwich
Guilford
Kent
Litchfield
Madison
Old Saybrook
Ridgefield
Stonington

I am about to do the draw, and promise to have the fixtures up as soon as possible. Shouldn't be longer than 30 minutes. Who is Ready?

Default Round 5 Fixtures

Well the draw is done, and the fixtures are posted below.

Round 5

Deadline: Thursday May 5 at 10:00am CT Time. Stylo requested it to be a little earlier, and I can do it on thursday.

Note: Old Saybrook was the town drawn to automatically advance to Round 6.

Kent vs Farmington

Stonington vs Greenwich

East Lyme vs Guilford

Fairfield vs Litchfield

Madison vs Ridgefield

So there we have it. I guess this Round might be a little break, as the draw didn't come out nearly as tough as it could have for some towns, although I am sure it won't be easy at all. Still vert tough. Get Ready to Vote!!!

Here are Mine:

Kent vs Farmington

Stonington vs Greenwich: WOW. Farthest Western coastal town vs Farthest Eastern coastal town. I wonder how this will turn out.

East Lyme vs Guilford: The parts of both these towns above I-95 are quite similar actually. I have to choose East Lyme though because as I stated many times, the coastal feeling is just brilliant there. Guilford has a nice coast but the best coastal towns start just after with Madison.

Fairfield vs Litchfield

Madison vs Ridgefield
