I've never seen a hummingbird. Kinda jealous. I'm in Fairfield, where should I be looking?

Yeah, mine's been out a week too, no hummingbirds yet. Mine usually arrive late April.

Do they wait for specific type of weather to come out? Its been rainy, cloudy, and cool past few days with winds off the ocean. But end of the week it will be like Summer so maybe they'll show up then?

I have a blue jays nest I found in one of my Evergreen trees. Since the snow melted 4 weeks ago birds have been active. They must of been starving.

I don't know if I want to see one that much. Maybe I have seen them before but thought it was a giant bee and ran away.

Look for them first at dusk at the feeder. Should be any day now. The males come first, to scout out territory, the females come a few weeks later.

Bada Bing! Our buddy Hummer is back, saw him last evening (4/28) at feeder.
We're in the vicinity of Indian Wells State Park, along the Housatonic about 12 miles N of NH.
