As a Sanders-voting Democrat, even I see the writing on the wall. Connecticut definitely wants him, I overhear people talking about him all the time. Yard signs are all over the place. Trump is pretty popular in Connecticut.

In a head-to-head matchup with Clinton, he'd be lucky to break out of the low 40s in Connecticut. Even though Sanders lost to Clinton in a landslide in NY, he still received over 200k more votes than Trump did in NY, even though Trump won in a bigger landslide there.

Assuming a Trump/Clinton race, the big question will be who do the Bernie supporters back? It seems there is a substantial number who despise Clinton and could end up backing Trump or sitting out. Will be interesting to see how it plays out. But I don't think Clinton has it in the bag in the general election.

His policies are the only ones that will help to turn CT around long term.

Without them then forget about any major changes in the state the next few years.

This is as good as it's going to get and will probably get much worse as H's guaranteed tax increases are going to drive more of the middle class out of the state.
