Can anyone recommend good places to live to raise a family that have good school districts, that are about 50 miles within New Haven?

There are MANY. You need to give us more information like the type of town you like (urban, suburban or rural), your budget and what you expect for that budget. I know you just asked a question about commuting from Guilford to South Windsor so I am wondering if you should be asking for suggestions between these locations. Still you need to give us more information so we can help you more. Jay

Westport has one of the best school districts in the state-- or even the country. It's within 50 miles of New Haven.

We really need more information. There are many, many excellent school districts in the area.

50 miles is going to encompass a good part of the state - from Greenwich in the West all the way to East Lyme to the East, and up to Avon and West Hartford to the north.

Agree with everybody else - we really need to know budget and what you seek besides schools.

You've suggested a radius that includes 85% of the State of Connecticut by area and 97% of its population. Others implied that already but I wanted to throw some numbers at you for emphasis.

Don't move to the NH area, stay where you are.
Apparently everyone there is going to be in Sally Struther commercials with cig butts in their mouths looking for work.

Hopefully the OP will figure out you are trying to be funny. Not sure they will unless they read other threads. Jay
