I'm considering a move to the area and am looking for government or non profit agencies which provide homes, activities and care for adults with developmental delays.
Discussion on merits or not of various organizations also welcome.
Thanks!

ARC, Inc provides employment, residency, advocacy, retirement, and respite services for disabled people in CT. Depending on how far northeast you are going, there are ARC chapters in the Manchester area (MARC), Tolland County (tri-county chapter), and Windham County (Quinnebaug Valley chapter).

I know DDS services are limited up there. Mental health services are mainly through Hartford Healthcare Organization with Day Kimball Hospital and Natchaug Hospital. Depending if still open believe satellite or main offices of DDS in Willimantic or Putnam. Also check with ARC they can probably offer suggestions if not a chapter I the area.
