Just got off the phone with a North American Power representative who is telling me about their plan of 7.99c/kwh, fixed rate for 12 months. Eversource charges 9.55c/kwh. I was wondering if anyone switched to NAP and how is their experience with them. Thank you!

DO NOT fall for this. This company has been mailing flyers advertising this rate, but they fail to tell you that Eversources rate is falling to 6.606 as of JULY 1st 2016. If you sign up with this company you will be paying more. (approx 1.3c/kwh) more.

"Eversource's residential generation rate will decrease from 9.555 cents per kilowatt-hour to 6.606 cents/kWh."

"The new rates will be in effect through the end of 2016, marking a nearly 20 percent reduction"

IMO the state shouldn't allow this company or any other to send out misleading adverts like this.

Yes a few years ago..I got what turned out to be a teaser rate that zoomed way up passed Eversource once the 3month mark passed by.

One thing to keep in mind: Eversource's rate is going down this summer, but it will go back up in the winter. We just moved to CT, signed up with them and the rep told me this over the phone. 'Market fluctuation', as he put it.

Best site for shopping around for power. Its run by the states efficiency program energize ct. Shows all the pricing very clearly.

There really doesn't look like much savings with the recent price reduction from Eversource.
