Do you find Connecticut to have noticable issues involving racism? Also, how prevelent is police brutality and profiling of minorities in Connecticut, and how much better or worse is it in other places. I don't remember, or even often hearing about police using excessive force, especially police unnecessarily using firearms.

I've written about how I worry about my son. I don't worry about him in the area we live in. I do worry about him in other areas of the country.

I'm glad you do not have to worry where you live

It doesn't seem to be a major issue around here.

Idk police beat this p.r guy up i use to work with in west haven beach. He was peeing in the conner but they ran to him, threw him on the ground while he was still peeing. I wouldnt say i wouldnt worry about my son i ln certain places because thats what alot of people say. Then when it happens they say i didnt think nothing like this would happen here or to me.

Its good cops everywhere and bad ones everywhere.

I'd concur. I think there are areas where it is a major issue.

We have incidents here and there-- Some Bridgeport cops stomped on a guy and were caught on video a couple of year ago, but it's not a notable problem.

I don't find it to be a major issue here....we have the most well trained cops in the country. I have a friend (a former cop) who went to the FBI academy in VA and said it was a breeze for him because the curriculum was so similar to the CT police academy, while other former cops from other states struggled a bit.. basically we hire well educated cops. Lots of departments require four year degrees here.
