Berlin has multiple centers. Kensington, East Berlin and maybe even another one.

You guys have a town center, it's just kind of...stretched? It was always considered down by where Dunkin and Parkers is....and up to the library. There's a great hiking trail over there, too.

I was going to say Berlin too. As for East Berlin they only have a post office and a rinky dinky restaurant in what would be considered their center.

Berlin where Dairy Queen is would probably be the best choice for a "center"

I would say the town of Goshen doesn't have a center.

You are correct. It does have the Town Hall, main library, Stop & Shop, 1 restaurant, 2 banks, the post office, liquor store and gas station. But ironically the residents who have lived here all of their lives call the area on White Plains Road the town center. Trumbull has the most bizarre commercial zoning I have ever seen. It is almost as if someone picked up a bunch of darts and threw it at a map of Trumbull and said "ah, good commercial areas".

To add to all of this there are now all new stores up at the Long Hill Green. They are making that a commercial area too.

Are you talking about the restaurant called East Side? Well guess what...it closed down and went out of business last week. One of my co-workers drove there to get lunch and discovered that they were out of business and she was pissed!

How about Bolton? Or Union? Probably the least talked about towns on this forum.

Maybe because Union is the smallest town of the 169 in the state?

Briefly getting back to Berlin: I would place their "downtown" in the Main Street area of Kensington. Two banks, the Y, a DQ, two barber shops and Amtrak all right by one another.

I swear I've seen a map of two that put the dot for Berlin by Mill Street (CT Route 372) and Webster Square Road.

No, Redding and Easton do not have identifiable downtown centers, none to speak of
