So I rest my case... that parts of Norwalk are in the same ballpark as other gold coast towns...

1 person out of 100 would say Norwalk if they lived in Rowayton. You're not getting my point that Norwalk and Rowayton are two different places and should be separated into this poll not combined. Norwalk is not gold coast; its a cesspool.

Schools are part of the Norwalk Public Schools system. Even much of nearby South Norwalk is geographically districted to Rowayton Elementray and Roton Middle which then go to McMahon HS.
Wilson Point and the Shorehaven and Marvin Beach sections of East Norwalk are also very much Gold Coast, where many homes are worth 3 to 10X the amount of your home.

The only reason I added Norwalk onto the list was because of Rowayton (a part of Norwalk). Nevertheless, some people prefer an urban environment.

In my opinion, I'd say Eastern Greenwich (Cos Cob, Riverside, and Old Greenwich) would be my favorite (and the best for families too), but only if they have enough money to reasonably afford it. I know many people choose the nearby towns over Greenwich because their schools perform slightly better (although it is very minuscule). Getting into one of the private schools (some being better than others) in Greenwich is advantageous for those who are concerned. A commute to NYC or even a visit to NYC wouldn't be too burdensome either. Also, it is in reasonable range for some high-end shopping and some more laid-back shopping in Stamford. As for Western Greenwich, it is nice, but I feel Eastern Greenwich deserves the edge.

Look how specific you have to get to make Norwalk something its not. Did a search in East Norwalk, on the water, and see one home worth more than mine. Nice try.

Sorry, I meant between all of the areas, way out of your range. Yes, theres one on SHorehaven, but it's only worth 5 or 6 times more. A few others are more than double.
Multi million dollar homes are multi million dollar homes regardless of specifics.
