Some people here just love to post for the sake of posting.

In light of our current choices and the growing likelihood that Lamont will win, I am looking into other states with lower taxes. So no, I will not be one of the ones who stays here complaining.

I was there around 9:15. The traffic line going into the school was stopped and I didn't see any open spots, so I parked across the street at a condo project in one of the visitor spots

Glastonbury reported that it has had 32% voter turnout by 11:00 AM. That is what we usually have after the entire day. When I went this morning it was very busy. Hope it keeps up but it is pouring here so some people may choose to stay home. Will see. Jay

I'm sure you will agree with me when I say this, but that's no excuse to skip the voting booth. I've said it before and I'll say it again: If you can stand in line for a damn phone, you can stand in line to vote. If you have time to get a tattoo, you have time to get registered.

Apparently you can even register today!

I walked - it let me miss all the loonies in the parking lot waving signs in my face.

Jay, where did you find the stats on Glastonbury turnout?

It also fails to mention that many people will come out paying less tax under this plan, since the increase in property tax may be more than offset by the decrease in income tax. Really is a YMMV situation.
