Perhaps I should have used decent showing. I got little sleep, apologies. He did a lot better than previous 3rd party candidates, but predictably flamed out and played spoiler.

In a race where Ned will win by 1, 2% 4% is a decent haul.

Looks like Lamont for the win.

Maybe I’ll check out some houses in SC while I’m down there this weekend.

I thought about voting Oz, but voted Lamont ultimately. I’m in Rocky Hill. Glad I did, because it was close.

Dh and I liked some of the republican candidates positions, but the republican base is gross and so is Trump. He gave Trump an A. Anyone aligning with that garbage doesn’t get my vote.

Stay out of the flood zones, they’re everywhere, lots of climate change deniers. Many people are unable to sell their homes, because home insurers are charging astronomical rates.

Sure then can the R 's were stopping everything the last 4 years of Obama and they did fine in 2016. But actually in the CT state senate and house there was a blue wave last night.

The democrats knew the senate map was hard, but they won governorships and the house. The house by a large margin. Blue wave in the house. I thought they would get to 220, but they are on track for more.

You do know you can pick and choose right? If you like one or two republican candidates, you can certainly vote for them.

This was probably the first time I've voted across a single party line, and it was all R. I still looked up every candidate to make sure they were what I wanted.

Also, what happened to the multi-quote button?

Very sad to see Lamont leading and probably winning the race. Connecticut is completely finished now. We had been in a downward spiral for years but this really hurt the state. Wonder how long until more big companies start pulling out of the state and look to relocate. Massachusetts re-elects a Republican Governor but we end up with a Progressive Liberal Democrat. Cities in Connecticut are the big decider in these races. I am not looking forward to seeing tolls, higher taxes, more gun regulations, more casinos, companies fleeing the state. Maybe someday Connecticut will get some Hope and Change.
