I lied. I open the door and then won't step outside. Sorry! I've taken a couple of pix, maybe I'll upload.

Just got out of the shower and the temp went up a degree in that time! It's now just over 32 degrees.

Snow's coming down pretty good and windy in what looks to be more than one direction right now.

What it feels like. Normal max temp is mid 40s for Mid March. Feels like teens and low 20s out there. Some with rain falling too. lol I see the very heavy rains for SouthEastern CT. Thanks for the report here.

Look how close the center of storm is to the coast. 50 miles East and there would not be any rain right now!

Epic bust. We may have one location in NY Metro that breaks 12" (Mahwah NJ?). Even the pressure is holding steady at 988/989mb.

National Weather Service Text Product Display

That includes the Poconos (minus one errant reading, not supported elsewhere), Eastern PA and NW NJ. All topping out at 12"

Sometimes I wish it was like the old days where we just sat around, not really knowing what was going to happen..would be much more fun.

I had to clear once again for the pup.....felt like little sleet, so I shoveled the front walk so it won't be too heavy later, the rest is snowblower work. Not sure how much we have in Bethel, hard to tell with the drifts....gotta be at least 14 - 16

Agreed! Now 33.3 degrees

I just poked a ruler out the back door - over 8" there. Definite drifting in areas.

Agree. Work was closed today so I'm getting paid to be home so can't really complain.

Pouring rain here now and temp is at 34.

I was thinking that yesterday when it was still sunny at 6:15 PM. In the days before weather forecasting, you would have just enjoyed the nice late winter weather!
