Just took went for a quick drive to check on the parents (they weren't answering their cell phones..). Merritt appeared clear but for the short time I was on it (about 30 seconds) it was a sheet of ice!

Backroads were surprisingly fine.. had to really search for something snow covered.

Here's a little Blue sky to brighten up the end of your day!

And a photo of the little snow/ice I have here.

They work in shifts and sleep on a hard floor (or in a chair, or ambulance stretcher). These people also have to get home and clear their driveways, let their pets out or find someone to watch their kids. Additionally, when it snows a massive amount, ambulance, police cars and fire trucks often get stuck en route to calls for service, leading to potential dangerous situations. So next time people say they are "disappointed", I encourage them to think about those who don't get a snow day.
I know all my cohorts are at work. Think everyone made it in. Friends from an ambulance Corp use to volunteer at said roads are crud, but the town DOT is rocking in keeping the roads passable for them. Thank God for all those able to make it in to work.

This is my third major storm not scheduled or on call. Did get stuck after that 36 inch storm. Worked the day after for 20 or so hour's was pretty sweet.

StI'll feel probably overdue to be stuck in a storm. Next year 4 days 72 inches of snow!

I'm sorry that you and everyone else have to deal with that this time of year.

Things can only look better from here on.

Not with less than 1 week before (start of spring) March 20, 2017 imo.

If this were in January or February it wouldn't be so bad as it would be expected.

Like mother nature (that "B" lol!) giving a hard punch in the gut.

You know what... this storm dragged me back. So dynamic and fascinating. I want more! lol. But don't worry, it'll come soon,...I think.. I don't see any above normal warm surges next 10 days.
