I have friends in Stamford who have a son with Autism and they are very involved with Autism Speaks. Maybe this site can help you here in CT.

These recommendations have been very helpful! We're planning to visit either this weekend or next to familiarize ourselves with the area and make the decision. Our niece actually attends Kent, so she's advocating for the move! I'm just ridiculously nervous about ending up with a subpar educational placement or a protracted fight with a school district...

If any one else has additional suggestions for areas or school districts to consider, please add them!

This is helpful! My son currently travels 45 minutes each way for school, and I would like to avoid a bus ride that is significantly longer than that.
