I knew there would be someone with some flakes this morning in CT.

Smells and feels like snow out there. Cold 30s for lunch time. #WhatHappenedToFall?

Going to grab some coffee and be back with an update on the 4 storms coming next 2 weeks. ..

BRB

For now... 1pm temps... Cold day.. didn't expect this actually. No sun. Barely anything on radar either.
When was the last time we had a full sunny day and 50s? Atlantic City is Sunny and 50s right now

And Euro12z showing something interesting for its last frame which is Nov 24th. (10 days out). Showing a storm in the gulf and GFS showing that big storm on the 28th.
Hmm. Something brewing maybe?

Let the hype season begin! Lol. Why isnt a rainstorm hype though?

1980s was the least snowiest decade (for southern CT) but it was cold.

If this active pattern is wasted I wonder if it will end up just dry and cold. Or maybe dry and warm again like Sept-Oct?

Maybe one of those "its too cold to snow" situations? I dont think so. I think this activity carrys through most of winter.. Then Spring comes early.

WHO KNOWS...after 2 weeks out, its a crap shoot. I watch Accuweather and its funny, they try to forecast 3 months out ..they are wasting their time. They flip flop around like a see-saw after 2 weeks out..... let alone 3 months. I just meant below normal temps in November don't usually lead to a snowy pattern. Rather see it milder now with ridging then get colder in December with more troughiness when there are better snow chances. But sure, its possible this holds for awhile. I know one thing I am with you on..give me a December cold pattern and warm up March..this late winter stuff we have been experiencing the last few years is for the birds.

I agree on not knowing.. especially in CT where its like thread the needle so many times whether storm is too close to coast or too warm or too far... we should start a "False Predictions" thread. Lol similar to this one //www.city-data.com/forum/weath...iculous-4.html
