Gas up the snow blowers.
Sharpen the shovels.
Call in sick.

Snow starts early Wednesday morning before 6am continues all day, ends Wednesday night

You see, this is when I start to complain about the weather. We're in March, it should be warming up and not snowing, especially no snow storms. lol

Wow, sounds like you rarely call out for snowstorms then. Not often we get 12"+. I haven't checked the liquid amount with this storm yet but I'm going to say no off the bat. Probably be 5-7"?

Don't you have sick days they give you? Use it for snowstorms so you can enjoy them and not worry about the roads..

Back when I was in the corporate world, they would often be very suspicious of people who called in sick during snow and would sometimes find ways to hold it against them. Sad but true.....

I mean there are people who don't even use them when they are sick (and thus spread their germs to others) for this reason......

Though they sometimes overdo it, and for whatever other criticisms one might have of them, the education world has it right on this one.....

No one would frown on me taking off, but I love what I do and run a large team that will all be present and accounted for. Highly collaborative team, and working from home isn’t as productive. 6” is really not disruptive.
