6am Map with wind gusts on. About 20mph here and from the North now since Jose is closer. It's about 200 miles south of Nantucket now. Moving slowly at 8mph and about to make a uturn soon (because of Blocking in the Atlantic)

In motion. 2-6am. only Eastern MA with the rains and looks like CT wont get anymore as it pulls further away

Some rain totals from Jose yesterday and last night.

Surprised some areas of Fairfield county got more than 1/4".

Not all reports are in but figured I post this for now.

Continued indications from Euro and GFS that a sharp cold front comes through next week and that the weekend of Sept 30-Oct 1 will be chilly! Lows in 40s/50s with Highs in 50s/60s for us.

Here's GFS lows for Saturday night next week (still 10 days away but the chill is being shown)

Just as I was starting to enjoy this September weather, the cold reality needs to swoop in and hit me on the head.

8:30am-12:30pm temp and Satellite loop.

Oh so close, yet oh so far. Seeing some reports from Eastern MA of trees & powerlines down in some spots. They are getting higher gusts. Temps in the 60s.

More constant wind today than yesterday as Jose is closer but like 300+ miles off the coast.

I was enjoying the weather up until two weeks ago. This nasty humid/muggy air has kept my windows closed and the AC on! It's been 70 outside at night but the stick is just terrible for sleeping. Let's go back to the cooler air from early September, better Fair weather!.

Glad to see we will be cooling off soon

Great running weather--if you can ignore the mugginess and the rain. But that breeze feels outstanding and has more than made up for the negatives. Looking forward to the crisp fall nights soon, but it's too early for cold temps!

Yeah, the temps is perfectly fine for September (70s) but the humidity is dragging me down.

5:30pm Map. Eastern MA didn't pass 60s today. #Jose.

Wow at the 80s south of NYC. What a difference a cloud edge can make.

Looks like more widespread rain over the Atlantic then earlier today. Interesting

In motion last 4 hours with wind gusts as the sun goes down. Winds lightened up here now. Doesn't feel like there's a 982mb storm off the coast. But he's there.

Knock Knock...

Who's there?

No Way

No Way Who?

No Way Jose.

Jose is still around.. He finally stopped and even had a westward movement last night.. Just will meander about until Maria kicks him out.

About 150 miles off Nantucket and Winds are gusting over 40mph on Nantucket this morning.
