I now see a high wind warning posted for Hartford County. Oh that's terrific...NOT!

I can see more of North trend because no way DC/VA has enough cold air like CT in April.

Two factors that have nothing to do with each other. A storms track is what it is..it does not follow colder air.

Cold high pressure can suppress a system south and affect the track of the storm.

Yup..but it has nothing to do with what he said. He blamed it on April. And ..you said the opposite what he said..

So much to say.. Don't know what to say.

Here comes the Arctic air. Reason why there was so much fog today was the mid level temps surged into the 50s which is very warm for this time of year aloft. Surface was still cool and rainy so created the fog.

But now look... Front coming through and the Jet stream is digging down in Eastern U.S

Lake Effect Snows because its in the single digits F° at 5000' while the Lakes are in the 40s? Instability and cold enough for snow.

The freezing line aloft is pushing East. Note the wind gust reports and damage in NY. Winds will pick up as this comes across. Strong push of cold air!

U...N..R..E..A..L

Another snow threat Tuesday????

An upr lvl trof is progged to come thru on Sun, this could produce
some shwrs of rain and/or snow. Only slgt chcs were included attm
with very little moisture to work with...pw/s aob 2 tenths per the
GFS.

Another low, this time perhaps more organized, possible for around
Tue.
Both the GFS and ECMWF have it in varying forms. This far out,
chc pops were included in the fcst. Although the deterministic progs
indicate mainly a rainfall event...and possibly wind...there will be
enough cold air around to produce a snow threat should the track and
timing align favorably.
