Subject to change but here's the current Snowfall forecast total for Friday and Saturday. Can't believe we're doing this over and over again.

Islip needs just 2.2" more to have their 2nd snowiest season on record

All models overnight shift SOUTH with this storm now. Missing us to the SOUTH...in APRIL! LMAO! No complaints from me. Although I would like to see Islip have their 2nd snowiest season.

A NYC stat this morning tells the pattern well.

In Bridgeport, CT. Number of days hitting 49° F or warmer from March 1 - April 4 is the least amount since 1960! Only 8 times?! Only 8 times above 48°?? Normal is about 12 for 1981-2010 avg.

and will have to wait another 6 days to add to it.

To give you an idea of the rarity of an April snowstorm missing us to the south, the Weather Channel, noting this trend, just said that if Washington, DC gets an inch or more of snow on Saturday, it will be the first time they had an inch or more in April since 1924!

Little event ahead of the main one tomorrow. Don't be surprised to see snow falling and maybe a coating or an inch somewhere tomorrow morning.

There will be a front pushing south...THATS the key... where will that front push to??

NAM says too far south for us to see precip. Incredible its cold enough to snow even down in VA.
This is just moisture from a front. It's not like a coastal storm. But new NAM says not a lot of precip with it so not much would accumulate down there.
